HISTORY OF THE COMPANYInyatsi Construction is the largest road construction company in Swaziland. Inyatsi was first registered in 1982. In 1986 Superfos Construction, the construction division of Superfos a/s, a Danish Conglomerate together with Marius Pedersen a/s, Danish Group with construction interest purchased 85% shares in Inyatsi Construction to form “Inyatsi Superfos”. In the year 2000, Superfos, Marius Pedersen and the local shareholder sold their respective interests to NCC Denmark a/s which in turn is 100% fully owned by NCC AB, 17 180 Solna Sweden, which is listed on the Swedish Stock Exchange. The Swaziland division now trades again as “Inyatsi Construction Ltd” and recently has sold 100% of its shareholding to Litfole Inyatsi Investments Ltd, a company totally owned by Swazi Nationals. Since then the company has grown dramatically and expanded across the borders. With a world class team of professionals, Inyatsi is competing with the best and doing so successfully. The company has operations in Zambia, South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland. In September 2009, Construction Associates’ shareholding was taken over by Inyatsi Construction Group Holdings. Construction Associates came in as a building construction organ of the group and in December 2010 Billion Construction, in South Africa was bought and later changed to Inyatsi Construction South Africa. The Company, which owns a comprehensive range of earthmoving and construction plant, specializes in the construction of new roads and the rehabilitation and upgrading of existing roads. It has also experience in Bridge Construction, pipe-laying and stormwater drainage, township infrastructure, water reticulation and the construction of dams and reservoirs. Inyatsi has the necessary resources and skilled manpower readily available, giving it the distinct edge over international competitors.
